Multipix
Multipix has released the new Ascent series from Apogee Instruments. The cooled compact CCD cameras have programmable 16-bit digitisation, up to 20MHz and cooling to 40°C below ambient temperature. The series has a range of sensors up to 16-Megapixels with interline transfer. The cameras feature the latest electron-multiplying CCD (EMCCD) technology.
The cameras also feature subarray readout, binning, TDI and kinetics modes, progressive scan, external triggering, internal image sequences and a USB 2.0 interface. With their low noise and small pixels, the cameras are ideal for OEMs, biological sciences, microscopy, spectroscopy and astronomy.
